Family Equality’s annual week-long beach party for LGBTQ families had a record breaking number of attendees for their 25th anniversary. The world’s largest gathering of LGBTQ families is held in Provincetown, Massachusetts and only continues to grow.
“Our time together at Family Week is a perfect opportunity to celebrate the strength and resilience of our community when we come together, and to build momentum for the work we have ahead of us,” Family Equality CEO The Rev. Stan J. Sloan said.
And from photos of the week, another large part of the time was spent simply playing and enjoying being a kid. After all, while these events are a great way for LGBTQ parents and family members to get together, in the end, it’s all about the babies.
Here’s a sampling of some of the cutest moments from this year’s festivities – and, would you look at that? The photos are all of adorable kids having the time of their lives.
