Oh, Pumpkin Spice. You’ve become the whipping post of consumerism and bad taste, but, still, we love you. Or at least some of us.
Starbucks has brought the ubiquitous modern flavor of fall back earlier than ever this year. And, of course, when it comes to pumpkin spice anything, moderation has been thrown out the window. Including on Twitter – where opinions are running strong.
Hate it or love, it’s back. But is it really Starbucks fault? After all, Dunkin Donuts started selling their own version yesterday.
Who cares that you’ll sweat harder than a sauna today. Channel your inner autumn and get that Starbucks #PumpkinSpiceLatte! They’re available today. Because nothing screams fall flavors quite like 92 degrees in August. ??☕️ pic.twitter.com/kmxtWHtcIl

The first day of fall is almost a month away, but Starbucks is bringing back the #PumpkinSpiceLatte today. I’m actually kind of excited, because I’m hoping that means they’ll move Black Friday up to the day after Halloween. Think of all the boxes… pic.twitter.com/AOuGKvGBMT

Even a cat got in on the fun.
I don’t get the human obsession with the #PumpkinSpiceLatte. It’s not like it’s special or unique. It makes the same sound when it hits the floor as any other latte does when pushed off the counter.

But maybe this one solitary tweet stands alone for its truth telling.
